I believe the test accurately assessed my personality type and I agree with most of the things it says. For instance, I am very attentive to detail (hence my passion for math) and I usually think analytically without rushing to a quick conclusion. Also, I am very diplomatic when dealing with people (this comes from me being born in the year of a Hare). I like to listen to what others have to say and if I disagree with them I will try to explain to them my point of view and prove to them why my view makes more sense. I generally avoid being dominant because I do not think it is an effective way to get my points across and solve problems.
I am happy with my type and I would not like to change it. I do not think I can become another type unless I fake it or role play it or something.
This test is quite helpful to determine people's management style so they can better understand where they are coming from. DISC tells one's strengths and weaknesses, and one can use the listed strengths to answer interview questions about their personality. In general, I found this test very interesting and useful.

Hii, I am very happy that you like the personality test in class and you find about your personality test. you are a C type person and so do I. I also, dont jump to the conclusion very fast and diplomatic when it comes to talk to others. I dont bring my point across unless I disagree with other person. As far as I am concerned about your personality type as sitting next to you entire semester you are a C type and you look like C type too. you look very studious and very attentive. the one who like to follow rules and regulations. Also, doing things with detail. I think what test says about your personality is right.
Lena,
My observations confirm your test results. I agree that you are very analytical, diplomatic, and attentive to details. During the first group activity though I mistaken your diplomatic approach with indifference and desire to go with a flow. But as the semester developed I knew I was wrong. So, clearly first impressions might be faulty. Also, it might be that "D" people like me, in general, are quick on judgments and conclusions about others.
Just like you I have "C" in my character. And I agree that it's a good personality trait to hold on to. Regarding the dominance, I also agree with you that it's not the best way to get things done. Even though "D" is my prevailing side, I have been practicing to curb it in favor of "I," especially when I work in a group. Judging from your post on my DISC blog I was rather successful in doing that because you could not believe that "D" was anywhere near me. But wait, here is a proof for you. This is your blog and your post but I have been talking about myself for the good half of the entry. : ) See you in class.
I figured you were a C too! It was very accurate for you because you are just like me in terms of group work. It's too bad our team hardly wins anything and it had us too analytical freaks on it. lol. Weren't you the one that got a 100 on th first exam too! there you go. If that was you there is even more evidence. I always see you paying attention. Me on the other hand I am tired that's why its so hard for me too...
Actually, we have the same personality that is been tested out by the DISC model. Also, i am happy with my personality too as you are. I feel you and i are having similar attitude toward things such as that you don't want to become a D type person unless you fake it. i view this the same also because i feel that will not be you anymore if you changes to a dominant person from the C person.
